Yes, you heard it. There is fishable ice...depending upon how daring you are. There's 2" of good ice with 2" of snowy-slush ice on top. We fished the afternoon so fishing was slow. We caught a lot of little perch and through them back. Tom, caught one, keeper bluegill. We'll add him to one of the bags of fish in the freezer. Nice to be on the ice.
