Burbot
We checked on one of the local lakes, this morning. There was two inches of snowy ice, one inch of water and two inches of good, colorless ice. The temperature was - 8 degrees.
This afternoon the temp was 8 degrees above zero. We ventured out onto the ice and sat up our ten rods for burbot. Just over two hours, we caught our limit of 12 burbot. The sizes ranged from 12" to 18". We also caught a few trout. Fun time to be out on the ice.
