Spooky
We hit another patch of good weather and went back to Montana for Mackinaw. We caught 16 in two days. The wind came up and we had to deal with high rollers. It was a little spooky, making us feel like we were on the ocean.
Tom brined them for the smoker. Only 10 of the fish fit in the smoker, so I canned the other 6 fish (7 jars). After the canner was done, we had to test it. OH!! It was soooooo good!! The fish, in the smoker, was just done to opaqueness, and he removed them so we could can another batch. This batch, of smoked fish, resulted in 8 jars of fished. This batch may be better yet.
