Perch

      A couple of days, ago.  We went to check ice, just south of us.  This lake is bigger and it was taking a while for the ice to be safe.  The ice was safe and we caught 43 perch, one after another.  Today, we went back and kept 50 of the bigger perch.  Tom caught two catfish, as well.  He released the catfish.   The ice is about 4" thick.

      We wanted to try a new lake, to us, north of Kalispell.  We kept 15 perch & bluegills.  Most of them were too small to keep.  Tom did catch a nice 32" pike on a tip-up.
