      Nice morning to catch a few panfish.  We caught 16 crappie, bluegill, and perch.  The ice was about 5.50" thick.

     It was a slower, burbot fishing trip.  We each caught three keepers, making one limit of 6 fish.  We caught, only, two dinks.  The other 6 were 10 - 14" long.  Amazingly, the wind has been calm, making it a nice evening.

     It's finally, starting to freeze at night and the ice is refirming back up.  We had to stretch to get out on the good ice.  But, made it safely on and off.  Nothing will stop us from fishing.
     We caught a lot of small 8" burbot.  Finally, later, last night the larger ones started to move in.  We stayed out a little longer this time to catch our limit of burbot.  But, was a nice night to be out on the ice.  We also caught two trout.  My new, hand made fishing pole worked great and caught the bigger of the two trout.  

Here, in Idaho, we are allowed to ice fish with 5 poles each.  We get a lot of exercise, running from pole to pole.
